Jenn + Don’s wedding was my first wedding back at Blue Hound Farm since it’s gone under new ownership! If you’ve ever been to this venue before, you know it had it’s own rustic charm. It was beautiful in it’s own way, but my goodness have the new owners totally revamped the place! The bridal suite has been redone, the gardens have been redone, and the ceremony site has as well! I knew that the venue paired with Jenn’s creative eye was going to be magical, and guys, if I could redo my wedding it’d probably look 95% like this!
It was the most beautiful September days when I arrived at the farm. A calm and collected bride was hanging out in the bridal suite getting her hair finished. When I say calm, I mean calm. Jenn was completely laid back and was very go with the flow when I asked if she preferred this or that… “whatever you think!”, was her response so when I asked her if she cared if I shot the entire wedding with my film camera as my 2nd camera, she said “sure! whatever you want to do!”. So, if you’re a seasoned vet film shooter, please don’t judge me when the film images stick out like a sore thumb! I’m still new to it and still learning how to make my film match my digital! But, I hope to shoot more film at upcoming weddings!
Jenn + Don, you guys rock. Thank you <3
